Wizz Air: 16% Discount on All Fares and Wizz Flex Service for Just 1 EUR

Wizz Air is currently running a 16 percent discount campaign on all fares with the additional Wizz Flex Service being discounted to just 1 euro.

Sweet 16

The promotional campaign labelled ‘Sweet 16 Sale’ gives you an extra 16 percent discount on any Wizz Air ticket. The discount applies to all fares but not to administration costs. Group bookings are excluded as well from the promotional offer.

The discount offer is valid on flights booked today (19th May) until 23:39 CET. You can book flights on Wizz Air’s website or through the mobile app.

Wizz Flex

An intuiging aspect of the promo campaign is that you can book the Wizz Flex service for just one additional euro. This service allows you to change the date of your flight without paying a change fee, although you may have to pay the fare difference if changing your flight to a more expensive date.

It also allows you to cancel your flight free of charge, with the money being refunded to your Wizz account for a future flight booking of choice. Note that this means that you cannot get your money refunded on your bank account or credit card if you are the person who decides to cancel (although this may be possible if the airline cancels the flights, as in that case EU laws come in play).

COVID-19

The service is therefore most useful if you at any point might get second thoughts about travelling in these challenging corona virus crisis times, of when for example your destination country might suddenly introduce entry restrictions even though flights operate normally.

Check for the full Wizz Flex terms and conditions on their website.
