Cheap Ukraine Flight: Berlin to Kiev for Only 18 Euro Return!
Wizz Air currently has some dirt cheap flight prices on its routes from Germany to Ukraine, with flights from Berlin to Kiev starting at just 18 euro return!
Ukraine
The cheap flights can be booked from multiple departure airports across Germany, although the cheapest flights are currently found from Berlin.
Especially in the months of January and February, there are tons of cheap flights between the German and Ukrainian capitals with flight prices starting at just 18 euro for a return ticket.
Other flights
Wizz Air also operates flights from the German airports of Cologne, Dortmund, Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig, Memmingen (Munich West) and Nuremberg to Kiev.
Although we didn’t manage to find any flights as low as the 18 euro ticket from Berlin, these flights are still highly affordable, starting at around 50-60 EUR.
Most of these cheap flights are available in the winter months of January, February and March, with flights in spring being slightly more expensive.
Wizz Air
The flights are operated by Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air. Do note that these fares are hand baggage only, which means that you can only bring a small rucksack on board.
If you want to travel with a trolley bag as hand luggage, or check a bag into the hold of the plane, you will have to pay extra. The same counts for services such as priority boarding and advanced seat assignment.
Discount club
Wizz Air Discount Club members get a 10 euro discount on all flights costing 20 euro or more, and receive a discount on checked baggage too. Discount Club membership can be bought for 30 euro and is valid for a year.
Kiev
Kiev, spelled as Kyiv (Київ) in Ukrainian, is the bustling capital city of Ukraine. The historic city has tons of sights, ranging from World War II memorials to stately boulevards and majestic monasteries and churches.
The vibrant city has tons of great restaurants and cafes, as well as a thriving nightlife scene.
From Kiev, it is also possible to make a day trip to Chernobyl, which has become increasingly popular among tourists after the success of the HBO miniseries of the same name.
