Aegean Airlines Black Friday Sale: Up to 70% Discount!

Aegean Airlines, the largest airline in Greece, has a great Black Friday sale with discounts of up to 70% on flights across its route network.

Black Friday sale

As part of the Aegean Airlines Black Friday sale, the Greek flag carrier is giving a 70% discount on all flights, which is certainly a great offer.

Unlike other Black Friday offers, the sale at Aegean Airlines lasts only for today (Friday 28 November), so you need to decide quickly if you want to take advantage of one of the flight deals.

Terms and conditions of the sale

As usual with airline sales, some terms and conditions apply to the Aegean Airlines Black Friday deal.

The discount on your flight depends on your date of travel.

Only Aegean Airlines flights between 12 January and 19 February are 70 percent off, while flights between 20 February and 27 March have a lower discount of 40%.

Finally, Aegean flights between 28 March and 24 October can be booked with a 30 percent discount.

Discounts are available for both economy and business class flights.

The discount applies only to the flight price itself, not to any government or airport taxes added to the ticket.

Check the Aegean Airlines website to find the best deal for your preferred destination and travel dates!

Travel ideas

Although the biggest discount is for winter travel only, there are plenty of great ways to make use of it.

Winter is a great time for a city break in Greece, whether in the capital, Athens, or the second-largest city, Thessaloniki.

With lower hotel prices and fewer summer crowds, it is an excellent time of year to see Greece’s historic sights, while still enjoying the country’s culinary and cultural delights.

Some smaller Greek cities served by Aegean Airlines can be especially lovely to visit in winter, such as Ioannina if you are seeking a snowy mountain adventure.

Other Greek cities that would still make for a lovely city trip in winter are Kavala, and even some of the bigger island capitals, such as Rhodes Town.

If you were already planning a trip to one of the many beautiful Greek islands in spring, summer, or autumn, this Black Friday deal is also a great opportunity to book your Aegean Airlines tickets.

Although the 30% discount for summer flights is not as large as the 70% discount for winter flights, it still provides an excellent chance to secure a good deal during the high season.

Of course, you can also take advantage of this Black Friday deal if you are looking for connecting flights, such as flying with Aegean Airlines from Western Europe to the Caucasus or the Middle East.

What to expect onboard your Aegean Airlines flight

I’ve flown Aegean Airlines often and consider it one of the best airlines in Europe, in both economy and business class.

On my flights, I have consistently found the service friendly, while the airline maintains an excellent on-time record.

It is one of the few airlines in Europe that still offers complimentary food and alcoholic drinks in economy class, with tasty snacks on shorter routes and hot meals on longer routes, such as flights from Greece to Germany.

In business class, you can enjoy delicious Greek cuisine, paired with some of the finest Greek wines and proper espresso-based drinks instead of the typical weak airline coffee.

Check, for example, my reviews of both economy and business class with Aegean Airlines between Bucharest and Athens to see how good the service can be, even on a short route.

Conclusion

Aegean Airlines has a great Black Friday sale, offering a 70% discount on winter flights across its entire route network.

Flights in spring, summer, and autumn are also on sale, though with lower discounts.

Unlike many other Black Friday sales, this one lasts for only a single day, so be sure to book your ticket quickly!
