Air Asia Offers Free Airplane Seats In Massive Sale

Malaysian budget airline Air Asia has offered millions of heavily discounted tickets including free plane seats in its latest ‘big sale’ to boost revenue amidst the current corona crisis downturn.

Low-cost airline

Air Asia, which is the largest low-cost airline in Asia with hubs in several countries across the continent, has released a massive six million discounted seats.

On some routes, such as domestic flights in Thailand, tickets can even be booked for free. Such tickets are also available on select international routes, for example flights from Bangkok to Saigon, Vientiane and Siem Raep.

Availability

Interestingly, the sale is for tickets on any date between September 2020 and July 2021, by which the airline seemingly seems to look for extra revenue in what is currently a difficult time for airlines amidst the ongoing corona virus (COVID-19) crisis.

Air Asia CEO Karen Chan said: “AirAsia understands the current sentiments of our customers, that’s why we’re providing ample opportunity to book in advance for an affordable getaway as travel period is from September 2020 up to July 2021.”

Tickets can be booked on AirAsia.com.
