The flights start at just 47 euro for one-way flights from Dublin, Ireland to either Montreal or Toronto in Canada. You will fly on TAP Air Portugal with a connection in Lisbon.
On certain dates, some flights have a long overnight layover in Lisbon, but who can complain for this price! And there is nothing wrong with spending a night and a full day in the great Portuguese capital of Lisbon on your way to North America!
Other cities
There are great one-way fares as well from several other European cities to Canada too. These cities are Paris (France), Brussels (Belgium), Milan (Italy), Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Geneva (Switzerland) and both Madrid and Barcelona (Spain).
Expect to pay a few tenners more for flights from these cities, still making it an excellent deal at under 100 euro for a one-way flight! Note however that no checked luggage is included in these fares and you have to pay a surcharge for it.
Availability
Flights for this great price are only available in the months of July, August and September.
You can search for flights through a third party website such as Kayak and book them at an online travel agency, or do it all directly at the website of TAP Air Portugal.
Prices at such OTAs (online travel agencies) are the cheapest. Booking directly at TAP will cost you around 15 to 20 euro more, but might be a more convenient option, especially when you need to buy add-ons such as checked luggage and seat selection.
