TAP Air Portugal Sale: New York to Paris or Amsterdam for 55 Euro!

Fly from New York to either Paris, Amsterdam or London for just 55 euro for a one-way flight to Europe in this crazy TAP Air Portugal sale!

Europe

After the previous TAP Air Portugal sale on one-way flights from Europe to Canada, the Portuguese flag carrier now has a sale on flights departing North America.

To be precise, you can fly from New York to cities like Paris, Amsterdam or London for prices as low as 55 euro one-way, making this a dirt-cheap way to cross the Atlantic.

France

Flights to the French capital of Paris are currently the cheapest at just 55 euro one-way. You will fly from New York Newark (EWR) across the pond to Porto (OPO) in Portugal, where you will change flights to Paris Orly Airport (ORY).

Besides Paris, also flights to Amsterdam are currently on sale, costing just slightly more at 58 euro one-way. London (Gatwick) is a bit more expensive at 83 euro one-way.

For what it’s worth, return tickets can be booked for prices around 160 euro – still a good price although much less of a stellar deal than the one-way fare.

Do note however that this deal is hand-baggage only and that a checked bag comes at a premium.

Portugal stopover

If you want, you can also add a stopover in Porto, which is a fabulous city to visit and a perfect base to explore the sights in the surrounding area such as the Douro river valley where the grapes to make port wine are harvested.

TAP Air Portugal has an excellent stopover programme which allows you to add a free stopover on your ticket, although do note that your time in between flights may not extend beyond 120 hours.

Availability

Flights seem to be available in the months of May and June 2021, although summer flights in July and August 2021 are only about 20 euro more expensive.

Of course, it is impossible to guess how the world will look like next year when it comes to the corona virus crisis, but with prices this low it can definitely be worth it to book in advance.

The cheapest prices can be found through third-party websites like Kayak, although for a slight surcharge you can also book directly through the website of TAP Air Portugal.
