British Airways has some excellent prices for flights from London Heathrow to Istanbul, Turkey. You can now fly to one of the world’s most captivating cities for just 105 pound sterling in economy (‘euro traveller’) or 250 GBP in business class (‘club Europe’).
These are excellent prices as British Airways undercuts Turkish Airways by about 50% on the same route.
Where to book
Do note that in the cheapest economy class fares, checked luggage is not included. Of course, business class allows you to check-in a bag and gives full lounge access at both London Heathrow and Istanbul Airport.
You can book the flights directly through BA or through third-party websites such as Kayak.
Availability
Although the UK has restricted travel abroad from 5 November to 2 December 2020 with the exception of urgent purposes, work or education, this deal might still be attractive for some people.
There is widespread availability in the months of November and early December, as well as in the winter months of 2021 when British government restrictions will hopefully be lifted.
Corona restrictions
Turkey is currently one of the few countries on the continent which is fully open for travel. There are no negative PCR test needed to fly and self-isolation is not required upon arrival.
However, things can always change so be sure to check the FCO travel advice for Turkey before departure.
