Black Friday Airline Deals: 2nd Ticket Free and Discounts up to 60%!

There are a couple of excellent Black Friday airline deals available such as Ryanair giving a 2nd ticket for free and Aegean Airlines discounting flights by 60 percent!

Black Friday

Probably you have already noticed from online ads on the internet or walking by High Street stores, but Black Friday discounts are seemingly everywhere.

This of course also includes the world of airlines, as several European carriers have come with appealing Black Friday sales. Below, we will highlight three of the most attractive deals currently around on the web.

Ryanair

Let’s begin with Irish low-cost airline Ryanair. The boys and girls of Michael O’Leary currently have a ‘buy one, get your second ticket for free’ deal.

The offer is valid at over 1,700 flight routes in the vast Ryanair network. All you basically need to do is search for your favourite flight route and to watch out for the ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ tag.

Only routes which are earmarked with this tag are eligible for the free ticket discount. Of course, it will only show up if you make a booking with two passengers travelling together. It doesn’t work for a solo passenger buying two different flights.

The link above has the full terms and conditions written out fully, although it is only mentioning the available routes to/from Ireland. If you want to see which routes are discounted from your home airport, simply change the Ryanair website to your language/country.

However, make sure you book your flight before midnight 27th November! Only travel dates between 1st December 2020 and 27th March 2021 are eligible.

Wizz Air

Ryanair’s low-cost airline competitor Wizz Air has an interesting Black Friday sale as well. The Hungarian budget airliner gives 40% off on selected routes.

If you buy a flight, you also have a chance to win a travel voucher worth 1,000 euro!

The conditions of the Wizz Air sale are similar as those of Ryanair. Flight must be booked today before 23.59 CET and are only valid for flights until 27th March 2021. Flights must be booked through the Wizz Air website or mobile app.

Aegean Airlines

Of the many flagship carriers, perhaps Aegean Airlines has the most lucrative Black Friday deals of any airline. The Greek airline gives away discounts of up to 60 percent on its flights!

The offer is valid for direct and connecting flights from all international destinations to Greece and counts for both one-way as well as return flights.

Flights between 1st March 2021 and 31st March 2021 are discounted by 60 percent. A 50 percent discount is applied to flights between 1st April 2021 and 30th April 2021. Flights between 1st May 2021 and 30th June are discounted by 40 percent.

Finally, summer and autumn flights (between 1st July 2021 and 30th October 2021) are discounted by 30 percent. Flight discounts apply to both fares and fuel surcharges, but not to all taxes. Business class tickets are unfortunately not discounted.

Do note that currently a negative COVID-19 PCR test is required when flying to/from Greece due to new government requirements. This also counts if you are just changing flights in Athens for a destination further afield regardless whether or not that country requires such a test.

Flights must be booked before 23:59 EST on Sunday 29th November.
