London to Milan on British Airways for 150 GBP in Business Class

British Airways has a great flight sale from London (Gatwick) to Milan (Bergamo) with tickets costing just 150 GBP return in business class!

The British flag carrier has a daily flight from London’s Gatwick Airport to Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport, which is located 28 miles north-east of Milan. Normally prices of around 150 GBP return will not get you much further than a basic economy ticket on British Airways. Flying business class for this price is thus a great deal.

Ticket availability

Tickets for this price are widely available throughout the months of January, February, March, April, May and June. The great aspect about the sale is that you are not bound to limiting ticket rules. Often, such ticket deals include rules of having to stay at least a week or a Sunday night. This offer however can be basically had on any day of the week. No matter if you want to stay a week in Italy, hop over for the weekend, or need to do a two-day business trip in the middle of the week, it is pretty easy to find tickets for 150 GBP on your dates.

What to expect on board of British Airways?

Even though business class seats on intra-European British Airways flights are the same as economy seats, you will get some nice additional perks when flying in the front of the plane. First of all, the middle seat will remain guaranteed empty, giving you more elbow and shoulder room. You can also check in two bags for free if you want. Of course, the ticket will also grant you complimentary lounge access at the airport, a premium meal on board and free-flowing champagne and other drinks. If you are a member of the BA Executive Club or are a member of any other Oneworld frequent flyer programme, this flight will also obviously earn you quite a few points and miles.

Not only great for Milan

The ticket deal is not only great for those who need to go to Milan for work or want to visit Italy’s largest city as a tourist. Even though most travellers head straight from Bergamo’s Orio al Serio Airport to nearby Milan, the old hilltop city of Bergamo is also well worthy of a visit. Bergamo Airport is also located a short distance away from the great Italian lakes and the Alps. Why not visit some of the towns on beautiful Lake Como? Or use the ticket in the winter to go skiing somewhere in the Italian Alps? The possibilities are endless.
