The Qatar Airways flight deal will take you from Switzerland’s largest city of Zurich to Auckland in New Zealand through the airline’s hub in Doha. This makes for a convenient break at a beautiful airport to stretch your legs on the long trip down under! The journey to New Zealand (and back) will take slightly over 24 hours of travel time, with Zurich to Doha taking around six hours and the flight from Doha to Auckland almost 17 hours!

For a slightly higher price, you can also fly to Wellington, New Zealand’s capital on the southern tip of the North Island, as well as to Christchurch, the main city on the mountainous South Island. If you opt for one of these flights, you will fly with Qatar Airways via Doha to Melbourne (Australia), where you connect to an Air New Zealand or Virgin Australia flight to your final destination. As these itineraries involve three instead of two flights, the travel time will obviously be a bit longer.
Availability
Flights are available in the period from now until 2nd April, as well as from 21st April until 25th June. As you can see, there is a blackout period around Easter when you will not find any flights for this low price. The minimum-stay period in order to secure this cheap price is minimum three days and maximum one month. Any shorter or longer stay in New Zealand will again jack up the price.
