Alitalia Business Class Sale: Milan to Athens, Barcelona or Malaga for 230 EUR!

Alitalia has a great business class sale from Milan to Athens, Barcelona, Málaga or Malta with flights starting at just 230 EUR return.

Business class

The flight deal will bring you from Milan’s Malpensa Airport (MXP) to Athens, Greece (ATH), Malta (MLA) or Málaga (AGP) and Barcelona (BCN), both located in Spain. All flights are routed through Alitalia’s hub of Rome Fiumicino (FCO), meaning that you will get four business class flights if you book a return ticket when booking a return ticket.

Returns can be booked from 230 EUR to all three destinations. This deal makes for an excellent (long) weekend trip as you can depart on Friday and return back on Sunday or Monday. Of course, you can easily spend a shorter or longer time away too if you like!

The offer is also valid on flights to Barcelona, Malta and Athens.

Other available routings

The same fare is also available from a number of other airports in Italy. We also managed to find flights starting in Venice (VCE), Turin (TRN), Napels (NAP) and Catania (CTA) for the exact same prices, so we wouldn’t be surprised if you can find it from even more airports across Italia which are served by direct Alitalia flights from Rome.

Restrictions

The deal can only be booked until 22nd January according to the fare rules. The sale is valid for travels until 12th July. When we checked availability, we had no problems at all finding suitable flights in winter or spring. The deal seems to be pretty wide open on any date until early July!

Where to book?

Either book directly on the website of Alitalia, or use a website like Kayak to search and book your tickets.

Alitalia business class

Alitalia’s intra-European business class product has the same seats as in economy class (although the middle seat will be blocked guaranteeing more space) and a more premium meal and drinks service. Even though it is not necessarily much to write home about, this deal has a number of other perks which makes this a worthwhile offer.

Casa Alitalia lounges

Flying in business class does of course mean that you can use the business class lounges in Milan, Rome and in your destination city before flying back. Alitalia has recently overhauled its business class lounges and the results are pretty good if I have to say so myself! There is a full open bar with barista coffee and cocktails, a great buffet (freshly baked pizza!) and good showers if you want to fresh up.

Even though the on-board product of Alitalia’s intra-European business class product might not be the best ever, the lounges certainly do make up for it. The business class ticket of course also comes with a higher luggage allowance.
